You might remember me posting previously my progress on Chloe's Tatty Teddy Birth Sampler well I've since brought another one to do for Caitlyn and am also doing one (same as Caitlyn's) for my nephew after I offered my brothers girlfriend I would do one for her. As they are the same pattern am going to post their progresses together :). This is the chart:

Hi sorry (again) for leaving it so long before updating again, been a busy bee planning well my career path really. I hope to one day become a midwife and I think I mentioned somewhere on here that I'm due to start an introduction to health and social care course in Oct this was to boost my grades so that I could get into university to study midwifery, had planned to apply to start next Sept but after some thought I decided not to Chloe will only be 2 then and depending when uni lectures would be and what shifts my placements would be would be alot to juggle, have decided to wait until either 2013 when she'll be in nursery or 2014 when she'll start reception and fulltime school, and in the meantime am going to do a couple more health related courses with the Open University and try and gain some experience :).

Stitching has taken a bit of a back seat atm :( but am is slowly picking up pace again :) have done some work on Cleaning Can Wait (will post pic once girls are in bed in a bit), and have some new projects planned I have a tatty teddy birth sampler to do for my eldest Caitlyn, did any of you see the tatty teddy pattern in Cross Stitch Crazy's latest mag? I've kitted that out ready to do as think it'll match the girls samplers perfectly for their room :D, plus have also planned to do the same tatty pattern for my nephew Daniel's sampler :)

As Aimee's Birth Sampler was so close to completion I put 'Cleaning Can Wait' on hold for a while to finish it, but now its finished (yay :) ) I have brought 'Cleaning Can Wait' out so thought I'd show you an update, I'm really pleased with how its coming along :)

Ok let's try this again, tried posting this this morning but some reason it wouldn't let me :(

Well last night I finished the backstitching on Bunny B, tho again the eyes aren't done yet but will do all three bunnies eyes together at the end :).

Just now I have started the backstitching on Bunny C and I'm hoping that either tonight or tomorrow this will be finished :D woo

I am nearing the end on this one and it is getting really exciting seeing it really coming to life with the backstitch :)

Sorry I've gone a little quiet again, just atm Chloe is teething badly these last 2 weeks we've had 6 new teeth cut through but she's still showing all the signs (drilling, chewing etc) so I think theres still more to come :( my poor baby, but she'd had me up all hours so I've been shattered I get up around 4-5am with the girls see to them then play some of the facebook games to wake myself up a bit, then very opportunity I'm grabbing my stitching and getting a few stitches in lol.

Cleaning Can Wait has unfortunately taken a bit of a backseat again, purely because I am so nearly finished with Aimee's birth sampler so I'm getting really excited and trying to get it finished lol haven't take a recent picture but will take one soon and get it posted up :), then once its completed I will be getting back into Cleaning Can Wait.

Now for some exciting news :), I've always been a little unsure about what I wanted to do with my life etc, but since having my girls I've been really eager to train as a midwife, well I've finally taken that first step I have enrolled on a course with the Open University 'Introduction to Health and Social Care', once I've completed this course I should then have all I need to apply to Uni to apply for the nursing course and after that the midwifery course :D, bring on October I can't wait sooo excited lol

Also we are planning on going away for a few days in July to Southend and I can't wait we're going 22nd-26th July, then once we're back I've decided I'm going to start getting back into my groups, missing all chatter :), and will try my best to post more then I did before lol, so that gives me 4weeks to sort through and clearout my inbox lol

Update: Aimee's Birth Sampler

I was going to post an update on this then realised I haven't shown any of this project on here yet so thought I better tell you a little about it.

With my mum I have 2 younger brothers and 3 younger sisters, my sisters are 8,5 and 2 and mum wanted birth samplers for the 3 of them, my 8 year old sister Lucie already has one which a friend of my mum made her when she was born but she never offered with the other 2 and mum asked me instead of asking her, and of course I agreed :).

I started with my 5 year old sister Aimees, Mum chose Janlynn's Sleepy Bunnies and here are the process pictures of it so far:

Coming Back...

I took some time out to kind of sort myself out a bit, I was trying to do too much at once and in the end not doing anything so am trying to get myself more organised etc.

But lately the stitching bug has hit me full force and my UFO 'Cleaning Can Wait' by Joan Elliott, has had alot of progress made on it so I thought I'd better come back on here and update :)

I don't think I can really call it a UFO anymore as it is the only getting any attention atm and I'm working on it most nights, but its getting so exciting seeing it nearly finished and coming to life I can't put it down lol

And you may remember the Tatty Teddy birth sampler I did for Chloe, well while out shopping with Mark and the girls yesterday I brought another Tatty Teddy birth sampler to do one for Caitlyn and have ordered my fabric (kit comes with Aida and I don't like working on aida no more) a pale pink Brittney evenweave (same fabric I used for Chloe's) then I'm hoping once done I can get them both framed and hung in the girls' room :), here is the one I've just brought for Caitlyn:

UFO Thursday - Cleaning Can Wait

I haven't been on in a while the girls have been going through a stage of getting up at 4/5am again which has been leaving me so tired almost all the time and more often then not forgetting what I'm doing lol, but its starting to catch up on them now and they'll slowly sleeping in later again tho they never sleep in later then 6

However I've still managed to get some stitching in :) so here are some progress pics of my UFO Cleaning can wait the 1st one is where I left it off 2 weeks ago:

UFO Thursday - Cleaning Can Wait

Well with Caitlyn's birthday last Sunday, my friends little boys 3rd birthday yesterday (plus his party tomorrow) and my mums birthday today, not to mention a bill going out the bank earlier then it should have causing alot of stress, there hasn't been alot of time for stitching this week but I did manage to get my UFO out last night (two weeks in a row go me lol) but I'm really pleased with how much I managed to get done :)

Right now I don't actually have any WIPs which feels odd lol, and with being busy today and tomorrow I probably won't get much stitching in now until Sunday, where I think I'll be picking up one of my kits waiting to be started :)

Would also like to thank you who gave me ideas about kiddy kits for Caitlyn, whilst I was out shopping for her birthday gifts I came across this little kit in wilkinsons which I thought would be a good starting point for her:

Its a pack of 2 and for only £1 a bargain lol, she was eager to get into them when she opened them yesterday but I've made her put them up for now (mean mummy lol) so I can sit down and got through them with her

I was also really impressed, on Friday I was having a look through ebay to get some ideas when I found this Minnie Mouse binca kit, now Cate is really into Mickey and Minnie mouse atm and got really excited when she saw it so I couldn't not get it for her lol, being Friday I didn't expect to get it until next week so was really impressed when it arrived Saturday morning and I had time to wrap it with her other presents :)

Although though not stitching a friend brought Caitlyn a little charm making kit, so she's going to be getting really crafty this week hehe :)

Now I'm trying to get ontop of emails and am getting there slowly lol (still around 300 though lol) so will be replying to anyone I havent yet and my groups soon though this morning I've promised Caitlyn she can bake some cookies in her new apron once Chloe goes down for her nap, a promise she's not letting me forget lol and has been trying for last hour for me to get Chloe down for nap lol (she normally has nap after her breakfast at 9 lol)

Again thank you for your suggestions I've made a note of them and will look into trying them after I see how she goes with these ones :) and I'll post her progress on here

Opinions please?

Another quick post as I'd like to get some opinions while I've got an idea in my head lol

I'm always struggling with ideas of what to get my mum for gifts and I've got this idea in my head and would just like to get some feelers on what others think?

Mum has 6 kids (me being the oldest and 2 brothers and 3 sisters) and I know she'd like a picture of us all together but with us all being of varying ages (Im 23 my brothers are 18 & 13 and my sisters are 7, 5 & 1) so that's not easy to get done so I came up with an idea of stitching a picture of each of us and putting them in a 6 picture frame, this is a frame I found which I'm thinking of using:

Idea being having picture of me at the top with the others following downwards in order of age??

Happy 3rd Birthday Caitlyn

Been a busy hectic day but wanted to take a moment to wish my eldest daughter Caitlyn a happy 3rd birthday :)

Had a nice quiet morning then headed over to mums for afternoon there :) and both her and sister were in bed and asleep by 6.30 :) I'm now shattered so prob won't be long til I'm in bed myself, busy day tomorrow as promised Caitlyn she could use her new apron and bake some cookies :)

Looking back over pictures from her birthday last year and can't believe how much she's changed! She's really growing up (still debating if thats a gd or bad thing lol)

UFO Thursday - Cleaning Can Wait

So as promised I was a good girl yesterday and pulled out my UFO 'Cleaning Can Wait', although I am slightly disappointed as I had hoped to have got more done on it but tiredeness got the better of me last night, but at least I made some progress on it and I hope to make even more next week :)

Also I've always hoped to one day when they're old enough to teach my daughter's cross stitch, my oldest Caitlyn who is 3 on Sunday has been taking an interest watching me stitch etc, then yesterday I found she was being more quiet then usual (she's very hyperactive and can always be heard doing something lol) so went to check on her and found her sitting on the sofa with a piece of my practice fabric (been practicing some speciality stitches) and trying to thread the needle and thread through the holes and was really concentrating bless her lol, I had to take a couple of pics before I took the needle away (which she wasn't happy about lol)

Now I still feel she's a little too young (mainly down to the needle lol) but I would love to keep her interest in it and get her stitching as she gets older, does anyone have any ideas when would be a good time to get her started? and what would be the best 'kids kits' to try her with? thanks :)

I've finished Chloe's birth sampler :) and I'm really happy with it, even more I'm surprised with how quickly I've managed to get it completed, and have to say a big thank you for all you're comments they have been great motivation to keep going with it :)

And yes I'll be keeping to my promise and my UFO 'Cleaning Can Wait' will be coming out tomorrow and I'll update with the pictures either tomorrow night or the next morning

I made a go on the backstitching last night and made good progress, tho I had hoped to have finished, but following the mc and the girls waking at between 4 and 5am for the past week or so I was too tired to concentrate on it properly and as I did'nt want to make a mistake I put it away, which was just aswell as as soon as I had I fell asleep on the sofa lol

Teejay yeah it definately is worth the effort in the end :) can't wait to finish it now

Sandie yeah the backstitch can be a bit of a nightmare but I've found stitching it on evenweave instead of aida makes it so much easier to do

Can't believe how close to finishing I'm getting now its great :), so I've decided to set myself a little challenge Thursdays are UFO days over on my my stitching group Friendly Stitchers and as I've been a little naughty and not worked on mine since before we moved lol I'm making a promise to pull it out this Thursday so my little challenge to see if I can get Tatty here finished before then, can I do it? we'll soon see hehe ...

Chloe's Birth Sampler

I am really enjoying stitching this one at the moment it's flowing really nicely :) I only started it Thursday but I'm thinking I might actually have it finished soon hehe

You can already see Tatty forming :) its coming on really nicely the only time I find I'm having a bit of trouble is all the different shades of grey close together lol but so far I think I've been ok and not had any problems :)

Back to stitching...

Decided last night to pull out my stitching, tho I was a bit naughty lol instead of working on my UFO or one of my WIPs I started a new start tho it is one of my goal, it is the birth sampler for Chloe :)

Progress I've made so far:

Am stitching this on 28ct pale pink evenweave, I thought the pale pink would compliment it nicely :), really enjoyed working on this and am looking forward to seeing it progress :)

2nd Update

Again thank you all for your messages :) does mean alot

Scan this morning showed nothing to be concerned about which is good, they think I have had a complete miscarriage and that the reason the hcg levels were so high is because it was so soon afterwards and they hadn't had a chance to drop yet, to confirm this I've got to go back tomorrow and have another blood test to make sure they are dropping back down again

I'm gutted about losing the pregnancy :( but now I just want to get this sorted soon I can start to get over it and move on, tho I have 2 very beautiful distractions in my daughters and its my eldest 3rd birthday in 10days :) xxx

Thank you all for your messages and prayers, unfortunately i lost the baby last night before I got to the hospital :(

Today at the scan they (as expected) saw no sign of baby but a clot which they told me to expect to lose (which i have since), they got me to do a blood test to check my hcg levels and if still at 'pregnancy level' i'd have to go back on Friday for another blood test to ensure they were dropping

I have since had phone call from the hospital to say my levels are alot higher then expected and so they want me back in at 8am 2moro morning to have a specialist scan with consultant to ensure a pregnancy isn't growing anywhere it shouldn't be :(

This is knocking my head sideways the pregnancy was a surprise but a happy one and just as we got our heads around it we lose it :( and now before we've really had a chance to accept this we're faced with this :( I'm just hoping I can get some kind of answers tomorrow so I can move on from all of this xxx

Hi i've already broken my promise to keep this blog updated as i havent posted in 9days.

This is mainly due to finding out last Wedsnesday that I am pregnant again, a massive shock as my youngest Chloe is only 8months(2moz) but despite this i was very happy and looking forward to it, worked out i am 7+1 wks 2day and due 29th Aug

Now the reason for this post is i would like to ask for all your prays as i am so scared yesterday and this morning i've had some light spotting but its got slightly heavier this afternoon, have rang the docs and have been booked in for a early scan 2moz at 1.30, i am really really hoping and praying and this little bubba is ok, please pray for him/her

Well where to start I have soooo much I want to do but I'm going to try and be realistic and just set a few goals and if I fill I can do more I'll add some more later in the year.

So in no particulare order (as yet anyway):

Mmm seems like it's going to be a year of birth samplers lol, I always have a few All Our Yesterdays kits that I'm eager to get stitched up but I really want to get these birth samplers done as soon as I can.

All Our Yesterday's First Post

Being full of flu and not feeling up to doing yoo much atm, last night I thought I'd camp on my sofa and transfer all my pictures over from my old laptop, unfortunately this didn't happen as the charger for my old laptop seems to have disappeared from where I placed it.

Though I did manage to save a copy of the picture from my facebook album so I can still post it up to show :), I am really happy with this piece and am looking forward to completing the other AOY's that I have and hanging them all in my hallway :)

Hi all would like to start of by wishing you all a Happy New Year, hope 2011 is a good year for all.

I have neglected this blog a bit lately and I'm determined to keep it updated more this year, mind you I said that last year and with 54 posts compared to 21 in 2009 I didn't do too badly lol.

Since my last update I have finished All Our Yesterday's First Post, unfortunately since completing it I have got a new laptop and not finished transfered all my pictures over yet, that is on my to do list this week though so I will hopefully be able to update soon with a picture, those of you who are friends with me on facebook will already have seen it (silly me updated picture on there but forgot to update here sorry lol).

I have many stitchy plans for 2011, whether I'll be able to complete them all will be another matter, will update again soon with full list of my 2011 goals.

Friendly Stitchers Bookmark Exchange

A while back I took part in a bookmark exchange over at Friendly Stitchers where we were paired up with a partner and we stitched each other a bookmark.

I haven't updated on here for a while life and time just seem to be escaping me lol there is just never enough time in the day, plus I went through a stage of not having the motivation for my stitching but I've got my stitching bug back this week and have been doing some whenever I've had a spare moment lol so here are some updates...

Managed to do some work on my UFO this week and I'm really happy with the progress I've made :) managed to get loads done and am starting to get really excited about finishing it now lol

Unfortately my daughter broke my digital camera a few weeks ago I managed to get it working tho the focus wasn't working but then on Mon it stopped working altogether, so have taken this picture with the camera on my phone it hasn't come out too bad but is a little blurry

Hi all I haven't updated on here in a while, but have had my hands full with my girls and due to many problems where I live (nightmare neighbours and me having trouble getting out the flat with the girls and my double buggy) we are on a search for a new place to live which is proving to be more difficult and stressful then I thought but hey ho we WILL get there and hopefully soon lol.

Anyway I thought I would post an update on my UFO 'Cleaning Can Wait', I last posted an update 3weeks ago when it was looking as such:

I did some work on it again the week after but didn't get the chance to update so here is a progress picture from 2 weeks ago:

The week after that I didn't get the chance to do any stitching on it as was a very busy day getting the house tidy etc for a visit i had on the Friday morning but here is a picture from the work I managed to get done this week:

Unfortuately the picture is very blurry this is due to my eldest daughter Caitlyn breaking my camera, I can (obviously lol) still take pictures with it but the focus doesn't work very well, sometimes it does and others it doesn't, very frustrating but can't afford to replace the camera at the moment so it will have to do for now lol, tho I am very happy with the way this is progressing now :) and am looking forward to getting more done on it this week :)

Some stitching updates...

I havent had much time to update lately so i thought as i had 5mins while Chloe sleeps and Caitlyn has her breakfast i would post some update pics of my projects :), there unfortunately hasnt been all that much time for stitching so there hasnt been a great deal of progress but i have tried to do some where i can

Thursdays are UFO day and last week i was unable to do any work on mine due to more problems with my neighbours (one day we will be able to move away i hope), so i made a point of making sure i did some work on it this week, not a great got done but i managed to get some stitches in at least :)

Hi all havent had all that much time to stitch lately but am putting in as much as i can, mainly on a bookmark for a exchange which obv can't post until after its been received lol so thought i'd post some up to date pics of my gorgeous girlies :)

Hi all as some of you may know my Monopoly Board got printed in Cross Stitch Crazy and Britains #1 Crossstitcher magazines

The prize i was told i was receiving form Cross Stitch Crazy hasnt yet arrived but yesterday i received a package from Britain's #1 Crossstitcher, in it i received 6 DMC threads, an embroidery hoop, a little trinket box and a Winnie the Pooh kit all showed below:

Now i just love Winnie the Pooh kits and i'm very tempted to get started on this one lol but i already have more then enough on the go atm so am going to try and stop myself starting this one, please help me? lol

Celtic Summer: Week 21 and a new project

And i was having a bit of a clearout the other day and came across a All Our Yesterdays kit called First Post, i brought it a while back but the threads were unsorted and i hadn't been keen on sorting them lol as many were very similar but yesterday i sat down and sorted them and put in a couple of stitches and it will now be added amongst my WIPs and will post updates each week :)

Well pulled out my UFO 'Cleaning Can Wait' yesterday hoping to make some good progress on on it, got Caitlyn down for the night gave Chloe her bottle then added a few stitches however Chloe ended up very unsettled yesterday and seemed to only want to have mummy cuddles (which are seriously addictive for mummy too lol) so ended up spending alot more time cuddled up with Chloe then stitching but a couple of stitches got added so thats some progress lol better then none anyway

Mum's B&B: Week 14

I meant to post an update on this on Sunday but when i went to take a picture of it i couldnt find my camera, drove me mad searching for it, searched the whole flat with no luck, then yesterday as Mark carried our double buggy downstairs so we could go shopping he found it on the hood of the buggy of all places, the one place i hadnt thought to look lol but i'm just glad its been found as can't afford to replace it atm

This has annoyed and frustrated me this week as i had hoped to power through and have it finished so i can give to my mum as it is already very late, but yet again i have run out of blue and with only a little bit left to go aswell grr lol, will now have to wait until i can next get into town to get some more

The arrival of Miss Chloe May Treacy :)

My 2nd daughter made a super fast appearence yesterday 12th May 2010, went to my mum's at lunchtime had a nice day and my dd Caitlyn had fun running around with sisters then mum mentioned she needed to go to Asda to get some shopping in so i said i would go with her (we joked that the trip might start me off haha), we took my dd and my baby sister Millie with us leaving my 2 older sisters at home with their dad.

During the walk around Asda i got a few pains but as ive been having pains on/off since about 32wks i dismissed them thinking they were just more of the same old, got back to mums around 6 and got dd ready and started walking home (df was already walking towards me to meet me) again started getting a few more pains but again dismissed them

Stopped off at chippy as dd was little hungry and we figured we'd have some to tie us over until dinner, got in df changed dd and dished us all up some chips as i was getting more pains which were alot stronger about 6.50pm 5mins after getting in decided to start timing them "just incase" haha, from the go they were coming every 2-3mins and lasting around 20-30secs then started lasting longer

Around 7.25 decided time to call mum she told me to ring hosp while she got ready and would come get me, she arrived at 7.50pm and we got to hosp just after 8 and told to wait in reception while my room was sorted, whilst waiting pains were coming thick and fast and almost unbareable if it werent for my mum getting me to do my breathing i don't think i would have coped lol, the receptionist could see i was realli struggling and called labour ward to chase progress and they told her to send me dwn

On the walk upto the labour ward i had to stop several times as the pains gripped me, by time i got up there, there were 2 mws waiting at entrance to my room who told me to go straight in, got into the room and one of the mws told me to get onto the bed and that they were going to examine me to see where we were at, literally as i got onto the bed my waters popped and instantly i was gripped with overwhelming need to push, i had coped upto this point by knowing when got to hosp i would have pain relief/gas & air etc but wasnt any time for that and my 2nd daughter was born at 8.31pm weighing 6lb13.5oz

Hi all I didnt get very much stitching done last week, very little in fact and that's why i didnt post any updates but am trying hard to make up for it this week and so should have something to update with at end of week :)

Thursday didnt get a chance to work on my UFO as had a growth scan on baby at 3.50pm (they were concerned as bump was measuring 30-31cm at 36wks) scan went well and baby is just a little on the short side which we already knew and her current estimated weight is 6lb1oz (eek! lol), this is all new to me as will be 38wks tomorrow and with my dd i'd had her at 36wks weighing 4lb15oz so am getting a little nervous now hehe. Anyway back to my point by time we had had scan picked dd up from my mums and got home and had dinner etc i was so tired i fell asleep shortly after dd went down lol so didnt have any time to work on my UFO.

p.s lady that scanned us Thurs was very lovely and friendly and took her time getting the measurements so that we could a good look at bubs :) and she even gave us a free piccy :D it's not very clear as obv bubs is getting alot bigger now and hard to get good shot of her:

On one of the groups I'm a member of Friendly Stitchers Thursdays is UFO day and up to now havent had any UFO's just WIP's, but about 4-6wks ago I brought myself a new kit Cleaning Can Wait by Joan Elliott:

I made a start on it and planned to put it into rotation with my other 2 projects atm but with all my in and out of hospital etc it got kind of forgotten so has now kind of become a UFO but would like to see it finished so have placed it on my list for Thursday's UFO so even if I don't do much something will be done on it lol

Hi all I had an appointment yesterday with my consultant yesterday as a follow up from my hospital stay last week, and may have finally got some answers as to why I've had the probs I have :), 2days before I was discharged they took some blood samples testing for something called Lupus which I was told yesterday came back negative which is obviously good news :)

But the blood results showed I was low on Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid, and I had already been told I was low on Iron, now looking up Vitamin B12 deficiency brought me to this site which gave a list of symptoms for B12 deficiency amaemia:

feeling very tired
breathlessness after little excerise
palpitations
headaches
a reduced appetite
a sore mouth and tongue

all of which are issues I've had so explains alot, to me anyway lol

The doctor said that a common cause of this is something called Pernicious Anaemia where basically the body can't absorb Vitamin B12 properly, and is common in Irish families (I'm not Irish but my dad's family originate from Ireland), so I had to have yet another blood test yesterday to test for this, in the meantime I've been put on Vitamin B12 tablets but if test comes back as this is what Ive got then once I've had bubs I'll have to have regular injections of Vitamin B12, most sites states they are every 3months for life

Yet another thing to be faced with but at least it seems at last they are getting somewhere in figuring out what is going on with me

Hi would like to say big thank you for the messages :), i am now back home they have said all tests have come back clear/normal so can't explain why i'm so breathless and heart racing, the only thing they can suggest is anxcity(sp?) and down to the fact im amemic(sp?) whilst in hosp was on antibiotics and iron tablets which they've given me to continue at home and ive been told to up my dosage of iron tabs from 2 times a day to 3.

Ive got one more blood test result to wait on (the one where they checking for Lupus) but got app with my cons for next thurs at 3.30 as follow up/check up and been told will get results then

But for now am just happy to be back home :D, tho my partner and mum are fussing no end lol always checking tht im ok and when Mark's at work im under orders not to be on my own so have been going over to mums so being well looked over and not allowed to do much but hopefully wont be for long and this little madam will be here lol

Sorry havent been around much lately

Hi all sorry i havent been around much lately, had a few probs with our neighbours (which thankfully seem to be resolved now) that was getting me down and stressed and so was having apps with my doctor and health visitor, then at 32wks i started getting realli bad pains, been having tightenings for a while but these altho not reg where constant all day had consultant app tht day so mentioned it to him and due to my history with my daughter (threatened early delivery at 32wks induced at 36wks) he admitted me, stayed overnight but was allowed home next day when things had calmed dwn.

Following week at 33wks had a growth scan (which went well and bubs estimated weight was around 3lb9) and afterwards was asked how things had been since was admitted week before, as i was still getting pains (tho again still not reg) i was sent to day assessment unit to be checked who as a precaution again due to my history admitted me onto ward, again stayed overnight and was allowed home next day.

Then last tuesday (6th April) at 33+6 came into hosp again as was unsure whether waters had broken was kept in all day checked over etc then allowed home that night after confirming my waters hadnt gone and were still intact, but had docs app in the morn for something unrelated but while there mentioned to her that i had had times where my heart would start racing wasnt sure if was anything but thought best to mention, she decided to check me over there and then and discovered my heart racing so said she wanted me to go hosp to be checked over, had my 2yr old daughter with me so worried but figured mum was on route to hosp could drop her there on way but then doc said my heart was racing so fast she didnt want me making my own way and so called an ambulance for me which just sent me into panic, but the ambulance staff were lovely, my oh was at work (1-2hrs away) and mum cudnt get to me stairght away so sent my little brother to hosp to pick my daughter up and take her to mums so didnt have to worry about her.

Was told they were concerned about a possible blood clot or could be a bad chest infection (also have barking cough which doesnt want to leave and sore throat), had all my stats etc checked all fine except my pulse rate kept jumping btw 80-130, at 4pm weds i was sent for a chest xray (they covered bump area so no risk to baby) which they said was fine but showed slight chest infection, on friday i was sent dwn for echo scan which i was told showed slight abnormality but they were unsure whether this was just dwn to my heart racing at the time, i was then taped up to a 24hr ecg monitor and then sent for ct scan (had to take ecg monitor off as to not affect scan and put bk on after) i was told later the ct scan showed no blood clots which is obv a good thing, and yesterday was told ecg was fine too so good news

Fri night, Sat morn and again 10am Sat my pulse was racing (around 120-125) so they decided to give me beta blockers they had wanted to avoid them if poss due to the pregnancy but said didnt want to leave my pulse racing tht high, since then my oulse has been low but starts racing again the nxt day so literally only thing keeping it dwn is the beta blockers but i cnt stay on them for too long and yesterday had to be given the beta blocker early as on checking pulse was 135bpm

Mon i had to have a blood test (rather 5 lol) as they wanted to test for a condition called Lupus, my mum has Rheumatoid Arthritis which is app along similar lines, so atm im just waiting for them results to come back, i'm hoping they make the decision to induce me soon as feel i can cope a bit better without the extra strain of the pregnancy, atm im still in hosp :( is very hard esp being away from my little girl but am hoping to get some answers soon and get back to some normality, and if you managed to read all that well done lol and thank you

Mum's B&B: Week 1

As soon as I saw this when I brought the magazine I knew I had to stitch it for my mum lol, my plan had been to complete it in time for Mother's Day next Sunday

Just a quick post to update this week's progress on Celtic Summer and i'm actually quite pleased with it so far, though saying that i very nearly gave up on it tuesday evening when after a good days stitching managed to stitch a big section only to realise later in the evening the entire section was one stitch too far to the right, i almost threw it away right then and there lol but instead i put it up for an hour then went back (calmer lol) and frogged the section then put it away and re-tackled it on thursday and as far as i can see i've counted right this time lol

I must admit I'm feeling quite pleased with myself this week lol, last week I set myself the goal of finishing upto Liverpool Street Station at a minimum, I thought I might stuggle to meet this as it was my daughter's 2nd birthday on Saturday so put in some stitching whenever I could, which resulted in my not only meeting my goal but also going further and I managed to finish right up to GO, so now all four sides are complete and the only thing left to do is the middle of the board so I'll be all finished soon lol

Celtic Summer: Week 1

Baby Update 21/01/2010

Hi all just thought i'd give a quick update on baby :)

After the last scan i was told they wanted me back in 2wks to monitor her growth, which we had today and our baby girl looked perfect :)

Consultant scanning me had a student with her which didnt bother me as they all got to learn somewhere and plus i got more time to watch my lil girl as she paused to explain things to him lol

Chloe is growly in proportion to what she should be so do worrys there, consultant said that she is perfectly healthy only 'issue' is her short arms and legs which arent really an issue she's just going to take after mummy lol nothing wrong with that

She did ask if we wanted to be refered to another hosp to look into why the short legs etc but we declined as as i've said before i've got short legs and arms myself and have never had a problem and in every other way our daughter is perfect so don't see the need, if there was an issue that affected her health of course we'd look into it but she's just going to be a shortie like mummy hehe :)

Also on the plus size consultant gave us a lovely pic of Chloe for free :) so cute looks like shes blowing bubbles lol

Follow up from last post

First off would lke to thank everyone for their comments they all made me smile :)

Wednesday evening i was getting very nervous i felt everything would be ok but silly me couldnt help overthinking things and getting worried about all the what if's ...

Scan was meant for 11.30am but was being scanned by a consultant and they got called away for an emergency so had to wait for her to come back, finally got scanned at 1pm and she confirmed that baby's legs (and arms app) are a little on the small side but she was happy to rule out downs which was a huge relief, she said from looking at me she felt that baby was just going to take after me :) and be ickle (best things come in small packages as mum always says :))

But she also said it could be a case of slow growth or infection and just to rule them out she's booked me in for another scan in 2wks to check growth and afterwards im to see the consultant to have a blood test to rule out infection

Also with Chloe being ickle :) with my size ive got more of a chance of having her naturally which is great news too :)

hey everyone had my 20wk scan today and we're having another girl, lady scanning me had a little trouble looking as she was very active but she said she happy its another girl and from we saw watching we are too :) so Chloe Marie is on her way

Scan went well everything appears to be as it should be :) one area of concern tho is her leg length is a little shorter then expected which she said could be a marker for downs or simply that shes going to be a shortie like me lol (i'm around 4"8), but as all other signs for downs came bk clear she said more likely just a shortie but they dont want to dismiss it jus incase so got to discuss it with my consultant on thurs and go from what they say then but will prob be offered a amino and since leaving the hospital ive had phone booking me in for a more detailed scan on thursday morning so that when i see consultant thursday afternoon he will have all info poss to discuss it properly but all in all seems ok im convinced shes just gona be a shortie but im glad they making sure

Same as my Monopoly Board really have got a little behind on working on this one, but when i looked back on the last picture i uploaded i am actually quite please with how much ive progressed :) running out of time tho as i hoped to have this one finished before christmas so i better get a move on really lol

This is the project as it looks atm and its slowly coming together and im getting excited at seeing it finished now

This christmas tree was half finished at last update and happily is now complete :)

Monopoly Board : Week 29

Been a bit behind both stitching and updating was put on hold for a fair while, as i was moving etc but i'm determined to get back into it and have it finished :) so will hopefully be back to the regular updates :)

I'm Back Online! - Woo Hoo

Hey everyone I'm finally back online after what feels like forever! lol in my last post I mentioned how due to probs with my flat I was being moved by the council, now I assumed i would be moved asap so began packing everywhere up but they took their time getting my new flat ready and it was another 4 weeks until we were given the keys and a week after that that we moved in (27th Nov), then after that we had issues with BT we were due to have our phone line activated the day we moved in but got nothing then we told there was an issue and line couldn't be activated without an enginneer and the earliest they could send someone out was the 9th Dec! and then they activated the line anyway the day before on the 8th BUT it wasnt our number (we had asked to keep our current number) they told us we could change it back to our old number but that we'd have to wait until the 15th! we were told nothing could be done to bring this forward but then spoke to another guy who rang the exchange and they put us in a queue and our number was activated on friday morn (11th), then we found out that instead of transferring our broadband account to our new address someone at BT had cancelled it! and they couldn't re-actvate it until the 18th but after countless phone calls and complaints it was activated Sat lunchtime (again after being told 'impossible' to bring forward) app because of the probs we were caused they escalrated(sp?) the process "at a great cost to BT" too right all their fault so they should pay lol just waiting on our BT Vision to be activated now but been told that should happy friday when they broadband was due to be activated we shall see lol, sorry for the long winded post there lol

On plus side Bubba is growing nicely im now 17+5wks and have begun to feel movements which are lovely :) have my 20wk scan on Jan 5th and am hopeing to be finding out the sex, tho we have already decided on our names :) Chloe Marie for a girl and Lucas James for a boy

Have done some stitching not as much as I would have liked but hopeing to pick up more now we're a little more settled as Monday and I usually update my Monopoly Board on a monday il will take and upload pic and update a little later when my daughter is in bed :)

I'm Sorry ...

Im very sorry everyone i havent been around too much (again) had a fair bit going on, i currently live in a 1 bed council flat and we'd been having some trouble with our upstairs lights (upstairs is an openplan kitchen/living room) we have spotlights going right across and they been flicking on and off from time to time nothing major or so i thought, when council came out to have a look at them they said the cables had started melting and basically left any longer and they would have caught on fire majorly! (just want you wana hear when you've got a young baby!) so we currently have no lights upstairs , now the council said they are going to move us and thinking they meant right away we got everything packed up into boxes/bags, but now it turns out the flat they've got planned for us is having some work done on it before we move so have another week or 2 to wait so are currently living out of boxes grr but least its a 2bed instead of a 1bed

Also to give you a little update as you know from my last post i'm pregnant well i went for my 12week scan yesterday, i thought i was 12+2 weeks but they've put me back to 11+5weeks due May 19th, but i don't mind i was just soooo happy to see my little Bubba, he/she had us laughing as during the scan they were jumping up and down lol and then swung their legs up in the air hehe, i was so happy i could have stayed in tht room all day watching my lil Bubba

I hope once i'm finally settled in my new flat to get back up and running with my stitching and the groups etc and i promise i'l try not to leave it too long btw posts again lol

Back ... and with some news

Havent posted in a while been crazy busy and havent even had much opportunity to do stitching :( tho i did manage to do some little stitching on my Monopoly Board the other night :) will post update on Monday

Now my news :D about 4 weeks ago we discovered that I am pregnant again, now it has been an incredibly nervous time esp following my previous mc's but because of them i was sent for an early scan last Monday (28/09) and we were over the moon to see our little bean and more importantly his/her's little heartbeat beating :):)

Now i was going to wait until i had my 12 week scan before announcing but now we know baby is ok i feel so happy and wanted to share my news :), and now all the worry etc is over (for now lol) i can relax alot more and get back into my stitching :)

Well my daughter Caitlyn is only 18 months, but it would seem we have entered the terrible 2's 6 months early, she's started screaming, throwing tandrums and throwing herself on the floor if she doesnt get to do what she wants, or we take something off she's not allowed, so we've introduced the naughty chair. She's kept me pretty busy lately so havent had much time for stitching but been getting it going again last few days so hopefully it'll pick up again soon.

Has we are away on Monday for the week I've been busy washing, ironing and packing what we what to take (and as is always the case having to re-wash some bits lol) I havent been able to add too much to this one this week but think its looking pretty good so far :).

Nearly ready for hol now just last few bits to buy and couple more bits to wash and iron then we all set :D cant wait to get by the sea just hope the weather goes our way lol

Bothy Threads - Row of Christmas Fairies

A while back now i wrote to one of the magazines i subscribe to (The World of Cross Stitching) and my story got printed and as a prize they sent me this kit, i started it (well i say started i did a couple of lines lol) then it just kind of got forgotten about, but a group ive joined on Yahoo called Friendly Stitchers has a UFO (Unfinished Objects) Day every Thursday so i thought i'd pick it up again and i must admit im quite enjoying it :) and its a nice distraction from my Monopoly Board.

Can't believe i've been working on this for 6weeks now and its really starting to take shape now and im really happy with it, has you can see i've now finished the border and black lines and have finally started to 'colour' in the properties with Old Kent Road and Whitehall completed.

Well yesterday was 5weeks since i started on my Monopoly board and this is my progress so far as you can see i have almost completed the black outlines and am hoping to have them finished by next weeks update, and to hopefully have started on the 'colouring in' of the properties, but we'll see how far i actually get ... lol

Catch Up

Well been a while since i last updated been a bit of a hectic month, shortly after my sisters arrival i found out i was expecting again myself but sadly nearly 2wks ago i started bleeding and hospital have said i have miscarried, i have to go for another scan on wedsnesday just confirm but they are pretty sure and a pregnancy test i did a week ago is now saying negative, as gutted as i am i have to hang on to the fact that these things happen for a reason and i will have another baby when its meant to be :), me and my partner Mark are going away with our daughter to the coast for a week next month and i cant wait

In stitching news ive been working on my monopoly board and as of Monday i finished the border, took me 3 weeks tho lol, have now started on the black lines will update with new pictures soon, mum has asked me to do a birth sampler for my baby sister and one of my other sisters as she didnt have one done at birth so am currently on the lookout for some and hoping to get started soon

Has it fathers day would like to wish a massive Happy Fathers Day to my partner Mark and hope he has a great day, and Happy Fathers Day to all Daddies out there :)
